October 17th.
Today we used pumpkin gourds to solve math problems. After drawing faces on our pumpkins, we used them to figure out how many eyes were at our table. We discovered how many noses, and how many teeth were at our table as well. (Each student could draw 5 teeth.) Students used pictures, numbers, and words to represent their understanding. After math, we decorated our pumpkins and took a silly picture of ourselves!
